Matt Clarke

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Matt Clarke is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Raise Advisory LLC. He brings more than a decade of commercial leadership, business development, and management consulting experience to complex capital and development decisions.

Matt is Chief Operating Officer of Nuera Capital Corporation, where he progressed from Vice President, Business Development to Executive Vice President and then to his current role. His responsibilities there have included capital formation strategy, institutional relationships, investment development, organizational leadership, and operational execution across investment and real estate development initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Matt held regional commercial leadership roles with Venus Concept, Cynosure, and Cutera. At Cutera, he led commercial strategy and regional management across Canada and Los Angeles, including strategic accounts, market expansion, and complex capital equipment transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, with a minor in Biochemistry, from the University of British Columbia.

At Capital Raise Advisory, Matt applies this experience to independent, disciplined advisory work: clarifying the decision, testing the assumptions, and supporting execution. His professional history is his own and does not describe transactions completed by the firm.

Effective advisory begins with independent judgment and succeeds through aligned execution.

We believe that strong outcomes emerge when strategic clarity, accountability, and the right people come together around a shared objective.

How an engagement works

Every engagement follows the same four steps, with scope and deliverables settled before the work begins.

  1. Assess

Clarify the decision, the objectives, and the constraints, and test the assumptions behind them.

  2. Structure

Define the scope, deliverables, and timing before work begins, so both sides know what to expect.

  3. Prepare

Organize the analysis, materials, and stakeholders needed to move forward with confidence.

  4. Execute

Support follow-through as decisions move into action, with clear next steps and accountability.

  • Clarity of scopeWhat is and is not included is agreed before work starts.
  • Defined deliverablesEach engagement has stated outputs rather than open-ended effort.
  • Commercial disciplineTiming and cost are treated as part of the advice, not an afterthought.
  • Direct engagementClients deal directly with the people doing the work.
